How to choose Blue Wedding Favours

The colours that you choose to incorporate into your wedding are much tougher decision than it first appears. Blue is one of the colours that is soaring above the others in the popularity stakes for 2012 and there are many wedding favours and wedding accessories that have emerged to accomodate the blue trend.

The first decision in which couples need to make is which shade of blue that they are going to have for their wedding favours.

Tiffany Blue: Tiffany Blue is a pretty pastel shade which is very similar to 'baby blue'.  Tiffany Blue favours are the most easy wedding favours to find of the blue shades.  In the above photograph you will see the Tiffany Blue Something Blue Candles tied with a wax ribbon to really compliment your Tiffany Blue wedding theme.  Another popular weding favour for Tiffany Blue weddings includes the Something Blue Timeless Glass Coasters favour. You can also use favour boxes such as the Seta Tiffany Blue box (to right).

Navy Blue: Navy Blue wedding favours is a great colour to accent bright colours with such as Lemon Yellow, Shocking Pink or Tangerine favours. It is really a colour that does not have many limitations on what you can pair it with. The photograph to the right shows the Navy Blue organza bags available from our wedding favour store www.somethingborrowedandsomethingblue.co.uk

Royal Blue: Royal Blue is the best shade of all the blues to pull off
many different themes.  In particular a Beach themed wedding or a
Winter Wonderland themed wedding can look amazing with Royal Blue
themed wedding favours.  We stock fantastic confetti table crystals for the wedding reception.

Whichever shade blue you go for you need to ensure that you have the correct accent colours to compliment your blue wedding favours.  The good news is the many blues will be will compatiable with many accent colours.  A few of our favourite accent colours to accompany blue wedding favours are White, Ivory, Yellow or Silver.

In conclusion Blue is a very beautiful colour for weddings and weding favours.  It is a colour which symbolises trust and tranquility, which I am sure you will agree is the perfect colour for your wedding favour.
